The theme for this years Children’s Book Week is ‘One World, Many Stories’ and runs from 20 – 26 August 2011.
Six YA books have made the Older Reader shortlist. The short-listed books are:

About a Girl – Joanne Horniman
The Life of a Teenage Body-Snatcher – Doug MacLeod
The Piper’s son – Melina Marchetta
Six Impossible Things – Fiona Wood
