Extended Borrowing and Unlimited Loans

Over the Christmas and New Year holidays, library members can enjoy Extended Borrowing and Unlimited Loans!

From Monday 15 December until Friday 23 January, there will be a 6 week loan period and library members will have access to unlimited loans.

Please note: New members will still be limited to 4 items.

Summer School Holiday Program

Dungeons & Dragons
Create your own character and join a quest in this role-playing game. Beginner's welcome.

Teen Chefs
This no-cook cooking class will teach you how to create delicious meals and desserts!

Reading Logs

The more you read during the Summer Reading Club, the more chances you have to win great prizes!

If you need additional reading logs, you can collect them from any Campbelltown Library branch or print your own copies at home by clicking on the reading log picture.

Campbelltown City Library is pleased to announce that the Summer Reading Club will once again be taking place throughout December and January. We are inviting young adults to come and join in the fun!

The Summer Reading Club is open to young people up to 16 years of age. This year’s ‘Adventure’ theme will see participants choose their own adventure as they explore the library shelves.

Registrations will open on Monday 1 December. You can visit any Campbelltown Library branch to register and all participants will receive a Summer Reading Club starter bag and a prize from our lucky dip. Registrations are also available online through the Summer Reading Club interactive website http://www.summerreadingclub.org.au/ .

Read as much as you can and return your reading logs to any Campbelltown Library branch to go in to the draw - there are some great prizes on offer! Reading for the Summer Reading Club will end on Sunday 18 January.

To celebrate the end of the Summer Reading Club we will be hosting parties at all Campbelltown City Library branches on Thursday 22 January. Look out for your invitation in the mail!

Good Luck HSC Students!

Campbelltown City Library wishes all HSC students the best of luck as they make their final preparations for the exams. Our thoughts will be with you over the next four weeks.

The HSC exams start on Monday 13th of October and conclude Wednesday 5th November. The exam timetable can be found here.

Children's Book Week is here!

Happy Children's Book Week Everyone!
We are celebrating Children's Book Week with a variety of events and activities throughout the week.
Why not pop in to your local library this week and see what is going on.

For the babies we have a special Baby Read 'n' Rhyme session at HJ Daley Library on Monday 18 August from 10.30am to 11am.

On Tuesday 19 August at 6pm why not come and join in the fun for the Reading Hour. We are having a very special Family PJ Storytime at HJ Daley Library.

On Thursday 21 August at 6pm Glenquarie Library will have their very first PJ Storytime. Why don't you put on your PJs, grab your family, bring your teddy and join us for a special storytime in the library at night.

We also have special storytimes in our regular time slots and displays in all branches of the library as well as our lucky prize draw.


For any child or young adult who borrows with their library card at any branch of the library from Friday 15 August to Friday 22 August can enter our Lucky Draw Prize. There will be two winners from every branch. Entries open today and close 22 August. All winners will be notified on Friday 30 August.

Children's Book Week 2014

Children's Book Week will be celebrated this year from Saturday 16 August to Friday 22 August. The theme is Connect to Reading.

During the week, the library will have displays of the shortlisted titles and a few special activities. Please watch this space for more information about what is happening during Children's Book Week.

Free Comic Book Day 2014

Worldwide Free Comic Book day arrives at HJ Daley Library on Saturday 3 May!

Dress as your favourite character, collect some free comics, meet a superhero, make a mask, go on a quest or play some superhero games! Talented artist Matthew Lin will also be holding a Cartooning Workshop on the day between 1pm and 2pm for teens aged 12 - 18 years.

Come down to the library between 10am and 3pm to join in the celebration - we look forward to seeing you there!

Youth Week 2014

The slogan for Youth Week 2014 is 'Our Impact, Our Voice' and runs from Friday 4 April to Sunday 13 April. To celebrate, Campbelltown City Library is holding a free Magic Class for young adults aged 12 - 18 years on Friday 11 April. Bookings are essential as places are limited. Stepping Up showcase artist, Olivia Green, will also be displaying her 2013 HSC major artwork at the library from Monday 31 April to Monday 14 April. Olivia's work explores the representation of females in mass media.
