Yourtutor creates an online classroom where students are connected to qualified, expert tutors for free one -to -one help with homework, assignments, exam preparation and study questions.
English, Maths and Science subjects are included and the service is available 4pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday from either library or home computers. Help is immediate, professional and secure and it's free to library members. Students in Year 3 - 12 simply log on to the library's website and click on the link to access the program.
Who are the tutors?

Who are the tutors?
Tutors are certified teachers, professional tutors, post graduates and advanced undergraduates from Australian universities. They can review specific homework and assignment questions with students online, using features like controlled chat, an interactive white board and shared web browsing.
All tutor sessions are monitered, ensuring they maintain the highest levels of quality control and service provision.
Students can now communicate with tutors the way they love to learn - via the internet - which makes the experience enjoyable as well as educational.

In conjunction with YourTutor the University of Western Sydney has released an outreach program called Pango. All tutor sessions are monitered, ensuring they maintain the highest levels of quality control and service provision.

The program is an academic, social network for students in Greater Western Sydney, which aims to help students think about tertiary options within Australia.
Once you have registered with Pango you will have extended access to YourTutor each night, between 8pm -11pm weekdays and 3pm -11pm on Sundays.
